Irish diplomats meet Bolivian authorities to discuss Dwyer death
Two Irish diplomats are meeting authorities in Bolivia today to demand a full investigation into the death of Michael Dwyer.
The young Tipperary man's remains have been released to Irish officials and will be flown home in the next few days.
The 24-year-old was shot dead last Thursday by police in Bolivia, who claim he was part of a plot to assassinate their President.
Tom White is the head of the engineering faculty at the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, where Michael went to college.
