Taoiseach pays tribute to FF senator Tony Kett
Fianna Fáil Senator Tony Kett has passed away after a long illness.
The 57-year-old had served the Party for almost 40 years.
Taoiseach Brian Cowen has paid him tribute, saying he was an experienced and valued member of the party.
Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern described him as one of the country's most astute political minds.
He is survived by his wife, son and two daughters.
