IMO chief warns health cuts will hurt vulnerable most
The chief executive of the Irish Medical Organisation has warned that health cuts will hurt the vulnerable the most.
George McNiece has told the union's AGM in Kerry that rationing of health services would mean longer waiting lists.
He also accused the HSE of being confrontational and failing to enter into a proper partnership with all groups involved in delivering health care.
Mr McNiece is also demanding an end to what he calls the ill-conceived co-location project.
