Plea in relation to attack outside pub
Gardaí today issued an appeal over an assault outside a popular Dublin night-spot which left a young man seriously ill.
The 22-year-old was attacked on Camden Row near the side door of Whelan’s pub between 1am and 1.15am in the early hours of Easter Sunday.
The young man suffered a serious head injury and underwent emergency surgery at Beaumont Hospital.
He is in a serious but stable condition in intensive care.
Gardaí at Kevin Street have appealed for the public’s help and urged anyone who was in the Camden St/Camden Row area, particularly between 12.30am-1.30am and may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information, to contact them.
