Ninety gardaí investigating Limerick murder

The Assistant Garda Commissioner has said around 90 gardaí are now involved in the murder investigation of Limerick man Roy Collins.

Kevin Ludlow held a press conference in the city earlier, two days after the 35-year-old's brutal killing.

It's believed he was shot because his family gave evidence against Limerick criminal Wayne Dundon.

Assistant Commissioner Ludlow said the National Bureau of Criminal investigation and gardaí from Cork and Kerry have been drafted in to work on the case.

He also praised the Collins family for their bravery in speaking out against criminals.
