€60,000 worth of heroin and ammunition found in Limerick

Gardaí investigating the murder of Roy Collins in Limerick have recovered two shotguns and an estimated €60,000.

The items were found during searches of dwellings and open ground on the south side of the city conducted following the fatal shooting of the 35-year-old yesterday.

Two men who were arrested yesterday remain in custody at Henry Street and Roxboro Garda Stations this evening.

Roy's father Steven Collins believes his son was targeted because his family gave evidence in court four years ago against Limerick criminal Wayne Dundon.
