The Archbishop of Dublin will warn today that a report on clerical sex abuse will 'shock us all.'

The report is due to be released in the summer.

In a homily due to be delivered this morning, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will say it is likely that thousands of children or young people across Ireland were abused by priests.

He will add that 'the horror of that abuse was not recognised for what it is' and that the report will make each of us and the entire Church in Dublin more humble.
