Man’s body found in Dublin hotel

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man's body at a hotel in Dublin.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man's body at a hotel in Dublin.

The man was found dead in a bed by staff at Bewleys Hotel in Newlands Cross yesterday afternoon.

It is believed he was in his 40s but had no personal identification on him. He had checked into the hotel on Tuesday night.

Gardaí are now trying to establish his last known movements.

The room has been sealed off and a technical examination will be carried out today.

The body has been removed to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
