Brother of Meg Walsh seeking meeting with Ahern

The brother of dead Waterford woman Meg Walsh is seeking a meeting with Justice Minister Dermot Ahern in relation to her case.

The naked body of the 35-year-old mother-of-one was found in the River Suir two weeks after she disappeared.

She died as a result of blunt-force trauma to the head.

Her husband, bus driver John O'Brien, of Ballinakill Downs in Waterford City, was acquitted of her murder at the Central Criminal Court last year.

James Walsh says the investigation into her death is still ongoing and he has requested a meeting with the minister, but to no avail.
