Irish aid agencies say the €100m worth of cuts to overseas aid announced in yesterday's Budget will have a devastating effect on projects in the developing world.

The reduction follows a €95m funding cut unveiled in February.

Trócaire director Justin Kilcullen is calling on the development community to stand up to the Government in an effort to have the cuts reversed.
