Govt under fire over bank assets plan

The Government has come under attack in the Dáil this morning over its plans to set up a special agency to purchase and manage bad loans held by Irish banks.

Fine Gael and the Labour Party have accused the Government of introducing the plan to help out their friends in the construction sector.
