Removal of Offaly publican to take place today
The removal of the Co. Offaly publican who was murdered in Daingean last week is due to take place this evening.
Sixty-four-year-old Matt Farrell died as a result of head injuries at his pub after what gardaí believe was a robbery that went wrong.
His remains will be removed from his residence this evening to Mary Mother of God Church in Daingean.
He will be laid to rest at Daingean cemetery following 11am mass tomorrow.
