Two closure orders served on food firms last month

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued two closure orders on food businesses last month for breaching food safety legislation.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued two closure orders on food businesses last month for breaching food safety legislation.

Veterinary inspectors served one of the orders on Riverview Farm, Coolroe, Tinahealy, Co Wicklow.

The other was served by environmental health officers on Jumbo Hot Dog, Strand Street, Tramore, Co Waterford.

A total of 11 closure orders have been issued against food firms so far this year due to concerns about potential risks to human health.
