IFA seeks end to 'discrimination' against self-employed

The Irish Farmers Association is calling on the Government to eliminate tax discrimination against self-employed people in tomorrow's emergency Budget.

The association says a self-employed person currently enters the tax system at an income of just over €9,000, which is half that of PAYE workers.
