Two charged after Belfast cannabis find
Cannabis worth an estimated £700,000 was seized at a retail park in east Belfast, police said today.
Two men, aged 26 and 27, have been charged with possession of a Class B drug and possession with intent to supply.
Three other men are still being quizzed following the police swoop at Holywood Exchange retail park yesterday morning.
Cash and three cars were also seized in the operation, which involved officers from the PSNI organised crime branch and HM Revenue and Customs.
Police later said the three men being questioned – two aged 40 years and one aged 21 years – were also charged with possession of a Class B drug, and with possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.
All five will appear at Laganside Magistrates Court on Monday.
