Belfast security alert declared a hoax

A security alert in Belfast has been declared a hoax.

The British army bomb disposal unit was called to deal with a suspicious object in the Fruithill Park area of the city near the Andersonstown Road at around 9am this morning.

The road was sealed off for a time but it has since re-opened.
