Security alert in Belfast

A security alert is underway in Co. Antrim.

The PSNI were alerted shortly after 9am after a suspicious object was found in west Belfast.

It was discovered in the Fruithill Park area of the city, near the Andersonstown Road.

The British army bomb disposal team is at the scene and the road has been cordoned off.
