Security the main priority for Irish savers

Security is the main priority for Irish savers when choosing where to lodge their money, according to a survey by Postbank.

The company says 54% of respondents identified security as their prime consideration.

The survey also revealed that almost two-thirds of people do not know what interest rate is being paid on their savings.
