Three due in court over Co Tipperary shooting
Three men are due in court in Co Tipperary this morning in connection with an incident in which one man was shot in the leg and another stabbed in the back.
The attack happened in Emly, on the Limerick-Tipperary border, at around 3.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Gardaí investigating the incident later arrested five men in their 20s after stopping a car on the Tipperary Road in the Ballysimon area of Limerick.
Three of them are due to be brought before Roscrea District Court today, while the other two have been released without charge.
