Ryanair calls for Army to keep airport open

Ryanair today called for the Army to be drafted in to keep Dublin Airport open during next week’s planned national strike.

Michael O’Leary, the airline’s outspoken chief executive, demanded trade unions backing an eight-hour stoppage over the Government’s handling of the economic crisis be faced down.
