Ireland's largest public-sector trade union has voted not to take part in the national day of strike action being arranged by ICTU for next Monday.

Sixty-five per cent of IMPACT members voted to take part in the national demonstration, but a 66% majority is needed under union rules to go ahead with industrial action.
