Engineering union to strike

The country’s largest engineering union is to serve strike notice today as part of its plan to take part in a mass day of industrial action later this month.

The Technical Engineering and Electrical Union said notice would be issued on the Government and the other main employer bodies including IBEC, the CIF and the main electrical contracting groups.
