Gardai have said they are treating as an accident a shooting which left a 29-year-old man in a critical condition in hospital in Limerick.

Gardai have said they are treating as an accident a shooting which left a 29-year-old man in a critical condition in hospital in Limerick.

Shortly after 2am a shot was discharged at the man's home in St Munchin's Street, St Mary's Park.
