Dairy farmers occupy EC offices in Dublin

Dairy farmers are occupying the European Commission offices in Dublin today as part of a protest over milk prices.

The ICMSA says the price farmers receive for milk has fallen almost 50% since 2007 and is not covering the cost of production.

The association is calling for a review of prices next year to be brought forward.

Today's protest comes ahead of a meeting of EU Agriculture Ministers in Brussels next week.
