PSNI find two guns at scene of officer shooting
Police in the North investigating the murder of PSNI officer Stephen Carroll in Co. Armagh have found two guns near the scene of the shooting.
Constable Stephen Carroll was gunned down by dissident republicans in a housing estate in Craigavon as he responded to a distress call on March 9.
Meanwhile, three men being questioned in connection with the murders of two British soldiers at the Massareene military base in Co. Antrim two days earlier have had their period of detention extended by five days.
A St Patrick's Day parade planned for Lurgan, close to where Constable Carroll was shot, has been cancelled amid the continuing tensions.
