Adams calls on dissident republicans to end violence
The Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams is calling on all dissident republican groups to stop their violence.
It comes as police in the North arrest two more people in connection with the murder of a policeman in Armagh last week.
Forty-eight-year-old Constable Stephen Carroll was shot dead by the Continuity IRA in Craigavon on Monday.
The two men, who are aged 27 and 31, were detained in Craigavon this morning bringing to seven the number of people being questioned about the murder.
Four other people are also being questioned about the murders of two soldiers outside an army base in Co. Antrim by the Real IRA two days earlier.
Speaking in Washington today, Gerry Adams said the violence must stop.
