Police in the North have arrested two more people in connection with the murder of Constable Stephen Paul Carroll last week.

Police in the North have arrested two more people in connection with the murder of Constable Stephen Paul Carroll last week.

The men, aged 31 and 27, were detained in Craigavon this morning.

Seven people are now being held in connection with the murder of Mr Carroll in the Co Armagh town last Monday night.

Another four people are in custody in connection with the fatal shootings of two British soldiers outside their army base in Co Antrim nine days ago.

Both attacks have been claimed by dissident republicans.
