Rescuers find missing climbers

Kerry Mountain Rescue has reached a group of three climbers stranded on Carrantuohill.

The three women raised the alarm after getting into difficulty shortly after 4pm this afternoon.

A rescue operation involving up to 20 people was launched - six members of the team have now reached the women on the northern side of the mountain.

They are hoping to return to the base of the mountain by 9pm tonight.
