Gardaí recover firearm in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have recovered a firearm and a small amount of ammunition followed a planned search in the south inner city.

They were discovered on waste ground near St Teresa's Gardens in Dublin 8 by gardaí from Kevin Street at about 1pm this afternoon.
