Coughlan rejects criticism of Govt over jobs crisis
The Tánaiste and Enterprise Minister, Mary Coughlan, has rejected criticism of the Government's response to rapidly rising unemployment levels.
The Labour Party has been severely critical of the Government's handling of the jobs crisis and has accused it of reneging on promises to hold a special summit on job creation.
However, speaking in the Dáil this morning, Ms Coughlan said the idea was being looked at by the National Economic and Social Council.
