Emergency Budget to be unveiled on April 7

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has announced that the forthcoming emergency budget will be unveiled on April 7.

Mr Cowen confirmed the date in the Dáil this morning and reiterated that measures included in the budget would be difficult.
