Greens promise to make white collar criminals pay

The Green Party has promised to bring white collar criminals to account.

Their leader John Gormley issued a stark warning last night that he is to clamp down on people who have contributed to the banking crisis and tarnished Ireland's international reputation.

As part of his keynote address at the party's Annual Convention, the Environment Minister vowed that anyone found guilty of wrongdoing will face the full rigours of the law.
