Man dies in Wexford road accident

A 29-year-old man has died following a road crash in Co Wexford this morning.

The two-car collision happened on the old N11 in Clonattin, Gorey, shortly after 6am.

The man was rushed to Wexford General Hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

A woman who was driving the other car was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin, but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
