Dole figures 'could exceed 450,000'

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has warned that the number of people signing on the dole could exceed 450,000 before the end of this year.

Mr Cowen was speaking after revealing that more than 354,000 people were on the Live Register last month, an increase of 8% during February.
