Man injured in gun attack in Finglas

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a shooting in Finglas last night in which a man in his 20s sustained injuries to his arm.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a shooting in Finglas last night in which a man in his 20s sustained injuries to his arm.

The victim was shot at around 7.30pm on Berryfield Drive by a gunman wearing a balaclava.

He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
