The Cabinet is expected to approve plans for a multi-million euro exporters fund when it holds its regular weekly meeting today.

The Cabinet is expected to approve plans for a multi-million euro exporters fund when it holds its regular weekly meeting today.

The Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, told the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis at the weekend that a €100m Enterprise Stabilisation Fund would be set up to support viable but vulnerable export companies.

He said these companies would be thriving if it wasn't for the recession.
