Body found in McGillycuddy Reeks

Members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue team searching for a man missing in the McGillycuddy Reeks in Co Kerry have found a body.

The alarm was raised yesterday when the man failed to meet friends after camping on the reeks on Thursday night.

A major search was launched by Killarney Gardaí and members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team.

It resumed this morning at first light and a body was found at 9.30am.
