Election would not be in country's interests: Coughlan

The Tánaiste, Mary Coughlan said today that a general election would not be in the best interests of the Irish economy at the moment.

Ms Coughlan was responding to a new opinion poll this morning showing that a majority of voters want an election due to dissatisfaction with the Government's performance.
