Gardaí release seven held over Geoghegan murder
Gardaí have released seven more of the people arrested this week in connection with the murder of Shane Geoghegan in Limerick last year.
Eight men and eight women have been detained in connection with the murder over the past three days.
Half of them have now been released without charge, while the other eight remain in garda custody.
Mr Geoghegan, a 28-year-old Garryowen rugby player, was shot dead near his home in Dooradoyle in November after apparently being mistaken for a drug dealer.
