Young Fine Gael conference continues with unemployment debate
Members of Young Fine Gael are to hold a debate on youth unemployment this morning, at their national conference in Athlone.
There are now 34,000 more young people under the age of 25 on the live register, compared with this time last year.
Young Fine Gael says young people are being hit hardest by job losses.
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said the country needs a new Government and a new plan to create employment.
