More than 1,000 delegates are expected to attend the Sinn Féin Ard Fheis in Dublin later today for the address of party president Gerry Adams.

The outgoing party vice-president Pat Doherty has told delegates that Sinn Féin will not tolerate any slippage from the institutions of the Good Friday Agreement.

A number of leadership changes are due to be formally ratified including the accession of Mary Lou McDonald to the post of party vice-president.
