Man arrested in connection with Drogheda murder

Gardaí have arrested a man in his early 40s this morning in connection with a murder in Co Louth more than two years ago.

Twenty-six-year-old Paul Reay was shot dead near his home in Drogheda in November 2006.

He was being driven to a court appearance in Co Meath at the time.

The man arrested in connection with the murder this morning is being questioned at Drogheda garda station.
