Gardaí issue alert about forged €50 notes

Gardaí have issued an alert to retailers in Dublin urging them to be on the look-out for forged €50 notes.

People working in pubs are advised to be particularly vigilant, especially if asked to provide smaller denominations in exchange for €50 notes.
