Man injured in gun attack at house in Dublin

A man in his 30s has been hospitalised following a shooting incident at a house in the Clondalkin area of Dublin last night.

Gardaí say a single shot was fired through the front door of the man's house at Woodford Downs shortly after 9pm.

The man, whose partner and his baby were in the house at the time, was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where his condition is not thought to be serious.

The lone gunman fled the scene on foot.
