Several people rescued from Wicklow Mountains

A number of people have been rescued from the Wicklow Mountains after getting stranded due to the snowy conditions.

Two Dutch tourists were brought down from the Killakee Mountain in the early hours of this morning.

Two jeeps carrying a group of friends also got stuck in the Sally Gap.

The occupants were brought to safety by the Glen of Imaal and the Dublin-Wicklow Mountain rescue teams.
