Teen arrested for drug dealing remanded on bail
A teenage boy arrested for drug dealing outside a shopping centre, has been remanded on bail by the Dublin Children’s Court.
The 16-year-old was charged with possessing a supply of cocaine worth €50 with intent to supply to another, at the Rowlagh Shopping Centre, on the Neilstown Road, in Clondalkin, in Dublin, on October 29 last.
Garda William Skelly told Judge Ann Ryan that it was alleged the teenager “was selling the controlled drug cocaine. The estimated value was €500 and it is alleged he had a large quantity of cash, €1,200 in fifties, twenties and fivers”.
The boy, who was accompanied to court by his mother, was remanded on bail to appear again in two weeks when he is to enter a plea.
