Woman dies after fall in Scotland

An Irish woman has died in hospital following a hiking accident in Scotland.

Teresa Michelle Conalty, from Co Wicklow, was airlifted to hospital after suffering a fall on Coire Cas Mountain at about 11am yesterday morning.

The 40-year-old later died of her injuries at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Aberdeen police said her next of kin have been notified and have thanked the emergency services for their assistance.
