Cork woman’s disappearance being treated as suspicious

Gardaí say they are treating the disappearance of a 60-year-old woman in Co Cork last week as suspicious.

Officers are continuing to search for Ann Corcoran, who went missing from her home in Kilbrittan last Thursday.

A forensic examination is being carried out on her car, a green Peugeot 206, which was found near the banks of the Mill Stream near Bandon two days ago.

Ms Corcoran is described as 5ft in height, of slim build, with short wavy brown hair.

Gardaí in Bandon are appealing for information from anyone who may know her whereabouts.
