Mulhall trial to commence next month

A date has been set for the trial of Kathleen Mulhall in connection with the death of her Kenyan boyfriend in Dublin four years ago.

The 53-year-old of St Mary's Park, Carlow, faces charges in connection with the death of Farah Swaleh Noor at Richmond Cottages, Ballybough in March of 2005.

Her daughters Linda and Charlotte are serving sentences for killing Mr Noor, whose dismembered body was found in the Royal Canal in Dublin.

The trial is due to get underway on February 16 and is expected to last around two weeks.
