Man appears in court charged with Waterford murder

A man has appeared in court in Waterford this evening charged with the murder of a man in the city in 2007.

Joseph Cummins (aged 21) from Tramore was found with stab wounds at a house in Waterford in November 2007.

Robert Devine from Wheatfield in Clonmel appeared before Waterford District Court today.

The court heard he was arrested earlier today in Clonmel.

When charged with the murder of Mr Cummins he made no reply, and was remanded in custody to appear before the court again next Tuesday.
